<p>This book is a collection of poems by Montreal authors Anastasia Chauny and Graham Isaak on themes of nature spirituality and the struggles of everyday life. It contains 52 poems arranged by month to be read over a year if the reader so chooses. Soul-searching poems such as “For Weak Saints” or “Strong as Death” are mixed in with comical poems such as “The Slime Monster” and “Buyer’s Remorse” and science-themed musings such as “Proprioception” and “Multiverse.” Musical poetry such as “Swell and Fade” or “Fiddle Dum And Fiddle Dee” meets ‘meta’ poetry such as “Four Lines” and “The Art of Trying.” Poems take a variety of forms including sonnet free-verse haiku and rhyming verse. Readers will encounter frosty winter poems in January and reflective Easter poems in spring as they are taken full circle through the seasons.</p>
