A Ghost Thrills America

<p>A ghost was heard singing in the potter’s graveyard of old Joliet Prison in 1932.  People traveled here from all over the United States to hear the singing.  The excitement went on for a month.  Then a convict confessed to instigating a hoax.  The crowds left and the story died.  But new evidence appeared in 2010 which revived the ghost story.  The convict had been coerced into lying about faking the ghost so as to preserve his parole.  And a photo of the ghost was found in an old family album which established its reality.  Now the story of this crooning ghost can thrill America gain.</p>
