A Good Heritage: The Story of Lew and Mabel Hern

Just an ordinary couple - a farmer and a teacher - whose lives spanned a century of the greatest changes this world has ever known. They suffered through the Spanish Flu of 1918 (an earlier pandemic) two world wars and the great depression - like so many others.They looked at life through two different religious perspectives which caused much heartache and misunderstanding - like so many others.They raised a family of three boys after suffering the loss of a nine-pound baby girl at birth - joys and sorrows - like so many others.Through it all they lived with honesty integrity and perseverance - like so many others.They were mom and dad grandma and grandpa just an ordinary couple like so many others but they left a good heritage and this is their story.
