<p>We feel happy to present the first edition of this book A hand Book of Polymer Science and Technology. The contents of the book are base on the syllabus of Polymer Science being taught at under graduate level of B. Tech. B. Sc. And Diploma courses of various Universities especially DDU Gorakhpur University and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow. The book is divided in six chapters. Chapter I includes the background of the polymer development and classification. Chapter II covers mechanism and kinetics of polymerization. Chapter III is based on various polymer techniques and processing. Chapter IV includes determination of molecular weight. Chapter V covers the degradation behavior of polymer and chapter VI includes preparation properties of some commercially important polymers and its uses in various fields.</p><p>The motive of writing this book is to provide the understanding of polymer science and technology in simple and concise manner.
