A Handbook of English Poetry

The book A Handbook of English Poetry is primarily intended as a textbook for B. A Second Semester Student of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University Gorakhpur U.P and its affiliated colleges for their course on English Poetry I and English Poetry II. This book has been designed according to the revised syllabus of the Second Semester provided by UP State University based on NEP-2020. This book is divided into 17 chapters that cover almost all the significant terrains for the background to the study of English Poetry. It includes extensive coverage of the poets and their prescribed poems with their texts. The book contains all the topics of both papers along with multiple choice type questions on each topic to meet the needs of Mid-Term and End-Term examinations.
