A Hanging in the Lowcountry

<p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Daren Renard is an FBI agent with a questionable track record that has earned him the confidence of his superiors. He is sent to Charleston South Carolina to investigate the lynching of a fifteen-year-old boy after the resulting unrest leads to the murder of a deputy sheriff. To aid in his investigation he recruits Andrea Watts a local detective and single mother who helps him to pull back the curtain on the city's legacy of racism secret societies police corruption and generational trauma. </span></p>
