A hearing aid to deaf and dumb people

The book motivates the researchers working in the area of image processing to find a solution to ease the life of deaf and dumb persons. It presents a novel idea of using camera for lip reading i.e. just by observing the lip movements by camera the spoken word can be interpreted so that deaf and dumb people may communicate like normal persons. Book presents a detailed description of all the steps required to design such a system in matlab. The work can be easily implemented into some embedded system like Pi.
