A Holistic Model for the Management of Documents Records and Archives

This short book is condensed from a doctoral dissertation which aims to find out a more applicable model to manage the whole life of all records in all media in the information age. It is based on a study of archival theories and practices using content analysis case study and comparative methods. This study constructs a new model named Interactive and Integrated Model for the Management of Documents Records and Archives (I2 DRA). I2 DRA merges the advantages of life-cycle and records continuum models bridges their gaps and highlights information openness information governance architecture long-term preservation risk management and other critical characteristics.
