A-Hoy Frankie! Your Riverboat Captain is an early reader designed for pre-school Kindergarten and first grade.A-Hoy Frankie is set in the Florida Everglades (science-related) and is a fictional book that includes an educational non-fiction component comprised of Frankie Fun Facts. The fun facts teach children about alligators and other species that inhabit the Everglades. The book is recommended to appeal to ages 3 to 6 and for that reason A-Hoy Frankie is a shorter book that can be easily read to or by shorter attention spans. The book is told through dialogue that is both humorous and educational. About the AuthorCandace Meredith earned her Bachelor of Science degree in English Creative Writing from Frostburg State University in the spring of 2008.
