A Hybrid Algorithm for PAPR Reduction in OFDM
English

About The Book

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is widely preferred in wireless communication now a day. OFDM works on the concept of orthogonality. Here a large number of sub-carriers are superimposed with each other within the same bandwidth. These non-overlapping sub-carriers are orthogonal to each other. This makes the system suitable for high data rates. As there are a number of sub-carriers the peaks of high amplitudes are combined leading to high value of high peak to average power ratio (PAPR).
