At the extremes of the organized criminal underworld sanity is subconsciously replaced by insanity. On the job what is wrong is the norm and what is right is irresponsible and almost totally uncalled for by the demons that would now play the most part. Having paid his dues to society the author now shares his experiences memoirs that were to be the only evidence of his existence and the genesis his only reference for sanity if he ever needed to find it. The author reveals his state of mind and spirit on his journey through the cold dark side alone and how going too hard against the grain in extreme adverse conditions alone at an early age gave rise to a new state of mind and spirit he later called The Bastard because of dissimilarities to who he really was. The book targeting youths and adults alike takes the reader on a journey through the highs and lows of a life lived in search of a better one and how virtues alone can guide us onto a path that is ideal for where we need to be in life.
