Ainslie Meares (1910-1986) was an eminent Australian psychiatrist medical hypnotist meditation master and healer - a doctor ahead of his time - so far ahead that we are still catching up. Meares made major contributions to hypnosis and then transitioned to teaching meditation before 1960. He continued to refine his method and positive philosophy until his passing.
