A Killing in the Red Room

When Suzanne Tassigny is killed under suspicious circumstances her murder remains unsolved until her daughter Chantal returns to France a decade later to bring her murderer to justice. But the crime is no longer a police or political priority in the midst of WWI and her search fails until she enlists the help of her lover The Honorable Mayor of Bordeaux.
