A Knock on the Door: A Tragedy

Isolated in the rural backwater of north Bedfordshire in the late 1950s where agriculture is still the dominant industry a group of teenagers struggle to contain their developing characters and emotions their high jinks causing trouble for the village.A benefactor provides them with a place to meet in an attempt to protect the disapproving community from their exuberance. Everything goes well until one of their number is trapped in a horrific situation thats completely beyond their control.The enormity of the offence committed and the reaction of the offender shocks everyone. The climax comes when a surprising revelation results in a misunderstanding and tragic consequences for all involved.
