A Lady of Quality

Clorinda is born into a noble family but is largely ignored by her parents and left to fend for herself. As a young woman she rebels against the strict rules and expectations of society and seeks out a life of adventure and excitement. She becomes friends with a group of outcasts and rebels and together they embark on a series of adventures from secret meetings and forbidden love affairs to daring heists and acts of rebellion against the establishment. As Clorinda grows older she becomes more and more determined to live life on her own terms and eventually comes into her own as a respected member of society. Along the way she meets and falls in love with a kind and gentle man named Francis who supports her in her quest for freedom and independence.
