I Was Born In The Summer Of 1939 – Just Before The Outbreak Of Wwii And I Was 16 Years Old When I Left School In 1955. This Book Describes The Experiences – Good And Bad Sad And Glad – Which Coloured My Life During Those Years. I Wanted To Explain To My Grandchildren Just How Different My Life Was Back Then Compared With Theirs Now. Just Telling Them About It Didn’T Seem To Hold Their Attention For Very Long Or They Soon Forgot What I Had Said. Maybe Now They Will Understand! So Here It Is – ‘Warts And All’!
