When Sara Crewe a young girl used to being treated like a princess at home joins an English boarding school she finds it difficult to adjust to her new surroundings. Sara however can imagine wonderful things and is a master storyteller. Her talents win her friends at school. But disaster strikes and her life is turned upside down.
