A Long Weekend

<I>Mike slowed as the tires hit the soft earth that led to a rocky playa some one hundred yards away. He relaxed as he neared the first monstrous sentinel realizing that he really had to stop. The road passed between two huge boulders standing guard at the entrance to the rocky cacophony. On a weekend getaway from their busy lives in Phoenix they stop at a remote gas station and tangle with a violent motorcycle gang.</p>Thinking the incident is over Mike and Sarah continue on their journey.
