Laura Broad is a wealthy and successful businesswoman who owns and manages a successful real estate company. Van Vorst on the other hand is drawn to Lauras independence and free-spirited nature but his idealistic views clash with her pragmatic approach to life. As Laura navigates her relationships with these two men and the societal expectations that come with them she also faces personal and professional challenges that threaten to undermine her success and independence. She struggles to balance her desire for love and companionship with her drive for achievement and financial security.
