A Measure of Kindness

<p class=ql-align-justify>Ally Malcom left her beloved profession because she refused to take the vaccine her employer mandated. Covid 19 affected her life in many ways </p><p class=ql-align-justify>including a relocation to her grandmother's beach house in NC. What happens after she gets there will set Ally on a much different path.</p><p class=ql-align-justify><br></p><p class=ql-align-justify>In 1991 Anna Strickland leaves an abusive relationship with her three children and seeks help from a local shelter.  What happens to them  is short of a miracle due to the kindness of strangers. Their lives also took a different path for different reasons. </p><p class=ql-align-justify><br></p><p class=ql-align-justify>When the skeletal remains of a nursing student who went missing in 1991 wash ashore on a beach in NC four generations of families who start out as strangers find a reason to open their hearts in a quest to find the truth of what happened to Katie Morgan that November day so long ago.  </p><p class=ql-align-justify><br></p><p class=ql-align-justify><em>A debut novel A Measure of Kindness is a story about what happens when strangers reach out to help each other and find they are helping themselves when feelings buried deep in their own souls are eventually revealed.  </em></p>
