A Meta/cognitive Approach to Learning English as a Foreign Language

This book is an application of cognitive psychology to the field of foreign language learning. The investigated cognitive and metacognitive processes are viewed from the perspective of the four skills involved in learning languages – reading writing listening and speaking. The main objective is to study the importance of metacognition for foreign language learning through a series of theoretical and experimental associations.
