About The Book

What is a Millennial? In terms of this book born between 1980 and 20005 but if you need to be picky see below. noun a person reaching young adulthood in the early 21st century. "the industry brims with theories on what makes millennials tick" The Great Recession has had a major impact on this generation because it has caused historically high levels of unemployment among young people and has led to speculation about possible long-term economic and social damage to this generation.

“What I've read so far I've enjoyed. It's easy to read-through and I like the satire. I do really agree with the part about millennial preferring animals over people. I also do this but I'm not really sure why. I guess it's because they're like children but with less responsibility? I personally don't like them because they rely on me but other people around my age might see it differently. Things like memes could also be taken into account I guess? Dog memes especially have taken over. Every day on my Facebook I'm constantly seeing how smart cute and funny dogs are.” Holly

“The general theme of the book is very interesting but I feel that some of the arguments are weakened due to unsupported claims and generalisations.” Alex

“I feel like most of it isn’t really applicable to myself or any other 21 year old I know. I do think some of it is quite applicable to my 13 year old brother though I.e the social media YouTube.” “I did make me think about how different generations are though. I think ‘millennial’ values and those of older generations can be quite different and it is interesting to read someone else’s perspective. My main takeaway would be that more needs to be done to bridge gaps between generations.” Yasmin
