This work proposes a profound reflection on the experience of faith and popular religiosity in Puerto Asis (Putumayo) recognizing in it a genuine theology born of suffering hope and the culture of the people. Based on the pastoral method of seeing judging and acting the author examines the action of the Missionaries of the Immaculate Conception (MIC) in dialogue with the communities of Ancurá women and youth of the parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe in order to glimpse paths of theological-pastoral renewal. Inspired by the Theology of the People this research seeks to make emerge an incarnated pastoral which springs from the life symbols and wisdom of the people and that drives social and ecclesial transformations from the active hope of the communities.
