A Perspective on Spiritual Warfare

Jesus prayed we would be one as He and the Father are one. If you have seen me you have seen the Father. The Father Son and Holy Spirit function as One. Created in God's image as a trinity we are to live in harmony within ourselves and in harmony with God.When mankind sinned our relationship with God was broken as was our internal harmony as we took on God's role.I name these three distinct personalities according to their motivations.Spirit/Shep - nurture empower.Soul/Hap - wants to keep everyone happy and is the arbitrator to keep the peace.Flesh/Phil - a play on Fill and Feel. Wants to feel good and fill up on his desires.From the beginning of our awareness the same temptations used against Eve and Jesus - Satan's world system of thought are being voiced to us from birth through our five senses.Lust of the Eyes - Lust of the Flesh - Pride of Life.A literal Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is growing in the Garden of Eden of our hearts. Through the process of New Birth our spirit becomes planted in the Spirit of God activating a Tree of Life.As we feed on the Word of God new patterns of behavior are introduced via the Spirit of God through our spirit offering a better response to that of the world system that will result in joy peace patience etc.We need to distinguish between the voice of Jesus Christ our Advocate and Satan the Accuser.Train our minds to understand and agree with this new input from the Spirit.The Kingdom of God we carry in our Heart Garden manifests to the world in three ways - Our Feet Our Hands and Our Mouths.You are on the front line of a spiritual battle for the souls of men.
