A Pinky Promise

Struggling through four years o infertility I slowly lost faith in ever conceiving a child naturally. My husband and myself decided as a last resort to do a one-month cycle of Inter Uterine Insemination. Never in my wildest dreams were there expectations of a positive result of the conception of one baby but when we saw two beating hearts on the ultrasound monitor it was overwhelming.</p>My pregnancy was normal and treated sacred throughout. At 27 weeks of pregnancy our worlds were turned upside down when my Obstetrician informed me I was in premature labor during a routine physical exam.</p>After my emergency cesarean section I had no idea what lied ahead as my twin boys were born weighing just over 2 pounds each and would spend the next 10 weeks in the hospital. Our twins overcame so many obstacles those first weeks and I had a lot of inner strength to build to survive a veer trying time.</p>Three years after the birth of the twins I found out we had conceived our third child naturally.
