A Poem Is a Song

<p>The Story is for time. The Seasons is for times. The Song is for the rain and divides the time.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>The Seasons</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Autumn:</p><p></p><p>In the nostalgia of autumn as leaves flee so also do they fly.</p><p></p><p>I speak of old behavior and the fallen lustful heart. Passion properly</p><p></p><p>defined as patient love is the eye through which light enters.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Winter:</p><p></p><p>The briskness of winter blues is the longing for fire.</p><p></p><p>I speak of weather on the spectrum of religion where the hearth is safe.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Spring:</p><p></p><p>Picture then the delicacy of pastel petals.</p><p></p><p>Christianity is the walk of a springing courtship. To walk alongside God</p><p></p><p>is to be with Him in the morning in the evening and all year round.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Summer:</p><p></p><p>Oh for the summers that ripen the fruit!</p><p></p><p>The ultimate pen begs the order of God then man then woman. I write</p><p></p><p>as the woman who discovers the well near the vineyard in Eden. There</p><p></p><p>is a lemon tree there coated with milk and honey near the berry bush</p><p></p><p>whose lovely aroma perfumes the air. I also see an olive tree. I have made</p><p></p><p>an essence of the aloes.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>The Song</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Within these notes are an offering similar to that of Magdalene's.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>*****</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>To God be the glory.
