A Poetry Book for Boys and Girls

First published in 1933 in three sections as the second edition of a 1927 original this book was created to provide children from seven to eleven years of age with an introduction to a broad range of poetry. At the time of publication the selection was notable for containing a high proportion of works by contemporary writers together with numerous old favourites.
