It gives us immense pleasure to present to pharmacy students our book entitled “Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry – I”. Writing a book is inspiring often exciting and sometimes very challenging work. Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry is being transformed with astonishing rapidity and current efflorescence in the knowledge in this subject has necessitated that it should be learned separately from Pharmacognosy. A sound and comprehensive learning of biochemistry will help a pharmacy student understand plant analysis and evaluation more clearly.
