A Prairie Song

<p>Building on his well-received book of poems <em>A Willow Grows Aslant a Brook</em> Aaron Chase Eddington continues to explore the finely observed life in <em>A Prairie Song</em>. Written in the style of classic modern American verse the poems in <em>A Prairie Song </em>celebrate a life well-lived-and the many forms that a well-lived life can take. ??</p><p>Representing some of Eddington's best work to date the poems of <em>A Prairie Song</em> weave the endless mysteries of human existence with mundane wonder at the natural world with both sophistication and simplicity.</p><p><strong>Aaron Chase Eddington</strong> is a poet and writer. <em>A Prairie Song</em> is his second full-length collection of poetry. His first collection <em>A Willow Grows Aslant a Brook</em> appeared in 2020 from Bowen Press. In 2017 he published a chapbook titled <em>A Birdwatcher's Guide to the American South</em>. He received a Bachelor and Master of Arts in English from Midwestern State University where he was named a Distinguished Alumnus in 2021. He lives in Texas.</p>
