A Proposed Model for Predicting Urban Growth of Aswan City

Egyptian regions are increasing in inappropriate way because of rapid population growth which consequently has negative influence on its urban growth. The main aims of the research were to focus on the Aswan City urban change analysis during the 1986 to 2006 period and to know the trend of urban growth in the further years by projecting urban land class using ANN-based CA. For the developing the GIS of Aswan City urban growth this research review on the prediction modeling techniques and then building and application of Aswan City urban growth model.
