A Random Set View of Texture Classification

Texture classification of an image is an important problem in the field of computer vision and image processing. A global framework for texture classification is discussed in the present Book. For a good and accurate texture classification one should apply texture features on any part of the image and the classification should be made based on this information. Other than texture based methods structural decomposition based methods are also found to be prominent.
