<p>C.R Dupee is a retired physician who lives with his wife and dog at a lake in Southern California. He was gifted a book on his 85th birthday written by Julian Barnes that deeply affected him and a wee later he began writing one of his own. The book has a philosophical and soulful bent with reflections on Barnes' words and thoughts from an aging author that are now important.</p>
