A Ruined Friendship

Two young students - Hamid and Alilou have just struck up a friendship with each other a friendship which Hamid wanted to see based on commitment confidence authenticity sincerity trust understanding and honesty. He hoped to consolidate it with a trip to England by sea from Oran to Alicante and finish the rest of the journey by coach to Paris via the South of France during the summer holidays but that was without counting once there on the antagonisms of interest the intrusion of women and money – real poison forgetting that true friendship is one that can be delicate without being fragile a concrete bench and not sand. Hamid wanted to idealize Alilou in a feeling so comforting that he was like him that he could understand him listen to his advice... in trust and reciprocity - a vital element in deepening a human relationship but alas it was failure and disappointment.
