The legend of the Witch of Wellfleet originates from the life of Black Sam Bellamy a pirate and the story of the pirate ship Whydah.</p><p>Although his audience is primarily middle school aged children this is a book that will appeal to anyone who enjoys reading a challenging and entertaining mystery.</p>
