<p>How many ghosts does it take to screw up a séance?</p><p> </p><p>Laney loves working at the local bookstore. Not just for the spending money but because she has access to all the enchanted tomes! The fact that she occasionally casts a spell with humiliating consequences (roadkill isn't supposed to follow her to school) motivates her to search for any spellbook that will help control her burgeoning necromancy magic.</p><p>At a high school party with her werewolf friend Kody Laney gets herself in over her head when she volunteers to lead a seance to contact a classmate's recently deceased grandfather. Something that she's never done before. But she just read a book about speaking with the dead so what could go wrong?</p><p>Laney finds that <em>contacting</em> the dead was the easy part. <em>Controlling</em> the ethereal intruders is a whole other problem. The ghostly party crashers threaten to turn the house upside down. One even tries to possess Kody! If Laney can't get the spirits to return to their realm the whole town will be flooded with destructive ghastly ghouls. Will Laney be able to fix the mess she made and avoid utter humiliation?</p>
