The book vividly takes you through the lives of eight Indians who lived in Deccan during this period and each of them had a unique aspect in them. These eight stories are woven together into a rich narrative tapestry and depict the social processes spanning over four centuries in the Deccan plateau.The first story is about Pratapa Rudra a king who ruled over Coastal Andhra.
