A Soldier's Letters

Love affairs under the best of circumstances can have moments of intense stress. When one adds a mixture of military assignments and a distance half-way around the world tender feelings between two lovers can become fragile and tenuous. Poignantly A Soldier's Letters tells of such a relationship while also describing the military experiences in this country and the unique colorful and seductive oriental country of Japan. Although these letters were written more than a half century ago the depicted struggle of two lovers' pursuit of happiness is as relevant today as it was then during the Korean conflict.
