A Story of Christmas 1943

Louise had a secret. A secret so dear that she dared not share it with anyone! And for a seven year old girl it was difficult not to tell her best friend at school her mother or even her old rag doll with whom she told everything. This secret would become a problem that would lead to a crisis on Christmas Eve of 1943. The challenges of living alone with her mother of the coming Christmas Program at the church and of keeping her secret to herself would lead to a dramatic series of events on Christmas Eve night. This story exemplifies how Louise's person courage her love of family and her relationship with her church would help her to meet the challenges of Christmas 1943.
