A Study of Effectiveness of Value Engineering Process

In this book the researcher studies and evaluates the value engineering phases including information innovation analysis research and implementation and implementation of oil and gas projects. The most important task of value engineering in any organization or project is to maintain or enhance quality by minimizing costs. In this book the researcher has studied five oil projects including Buali Razi Bidbland Akhajari and Kranj. The researcher in his position of searching and analyzing the hypotheses has used two kinds of databases. A group that included staff comments which were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed with survey tools. The second category of information is obtained from existing files from projects including cost scheduling control over the implementation of these projects and analyzed with industry-specific engineering techniques. The results of both categories of information confirmed the assumptions of the research. In the end the researcher has designed a system for implementing value engineering which should result in productivity.
