This work titled ‘A Study of Implementation of the Central Agricultural Policies in Latur District of Maharashtra During the Period 2014-2019’ mainly deals with the agricultural policies formulated by the BJP led NDA government during their first term in power from 2014-19 and how they have been implemented in Latur District of Maharashtra. Agriculture is one of the oldest sectors of business in the world. It is the backbone of the Indian Economy as it propels growth in the secondary and tertiary sectors. India is the second most populated country in the world with a population of approximately 1.4 billion out of which more than 50% are directly or indirectly dependent upon agriculture and its allied activities as their source of living. This book deals with the latest developments in the field of agriculture and how have these policies affected the lives of the farmers of Latur District.
