A study on Length-Weight relationship of U.vittatus

The goatfish family (Mullidae) is commercially important demersal fish group throughout their distribution around the world. Length-weight relationship studies includes estimation of mean weight of fish of specific length determination of body condition factor that indicates the relative well being of a fish and conversion of length growth data to weight growth models. This book shed light on Length-weight relationship of U.Vittatus collected at weekly intervals from the mechanized trawlers which were operated off Visakahapatnam coast of Bay of Bengal and the catches were landed at the Visakhapatnam fishing harbour.
