This book is all about metaphoric and metonymic Expressions of body part terms hand and head in Hausa. Conceptual metaphor concerns mapping between source domains through reference to another entity or element in the target domain by means of Conceptualization. Relatedly metonymy involves single domain mapping of an entity onto another entity the vehicle gives access to another entity that is the target in a single domain.
