A Study on the Propagation Law of Blasting Seismic Waves in Heterogeneous Media
English

About The Book

Based on existing research results both domestically and internationally this book investigates the laws of variation in blasting vibration as well as the propagation patterns and characteristics of blasting seismic waves. By dividing blasting areas into near and far zones the study examines the laws governing blasting vibration frequency variations in rock masses based on numerical calculations and analyses of the maximum and minimum values of blasting vibration velocity. For blasting vibration fields with undesirable inclusions it conducts a comparative analysis of blasting vibration velocity and displacement through simulation calculations and provides engineering verification. For presplitting blasting vibration in rock masses under joint conditions it conducts modeling and simulation calculations on presplitting blasting with different angle joint structures and draws conclusions of production guidance significance. The research process and results have considerable practical value and can provide important guidance for the design and implementation of engineering blasting.
