Many agro-dealers are failing in business because of random lending to friends and family members with debt management being poor. Hence those dealers must be trained to market their produce effectively. In planning an effective training programme the first and foremost essential step is to identify the specific training needs of the farmers. The success or failure of training depends upon whether the training was need based and appropriate methodology applied or not.
