<p>Less than two weeks before Christmas and Lavender Village is preparing for their very first Christmas Countdown Marketing Event!<br>Dorothy Wise has a pile of paperwork to read through meringues and orange cookies to bake and her usual Christmas fare. Normally she'd believe the tasks are manageable. And they would be if it weren't for the man who has turned up in the village. Every time she sees him something odd happens inside her.<br>Philip Ray is escaping his family troubles by visiting a friend in the village. He can't say no to joining in the countdown event so he and Dorothy wind up taking part in most of the activities together.<br>As the countdown days pass can they admit their feelings for one another offering a merry Christmas or will the season be a countdown to sadness?</p>
