Read on to find out About the Author: Mrs. Rungeen Singh is M A in English Literature & LLB. She has 50 years of experience in teaching English to children and grown-ups. She has been actively writing since 1992. More than 800 articles short stories poems were published in various English Magazines and Newspapers. She has written many books for children about 200 including 15 novels for Adults and Young Adults . She is a life member of ‘Association for Writers and Illustrators for Children’ (AWIC). In the competition of CBT (Children’s Book trust) of 2008 one book “The Bubbly Drop” won her the second All India prize. In the ‘All India Competition 2009’ of CBT 3 books have won prizes She has won the first prize in the All India Contest of the “Family” magazine. One short story was translated into Japanese through AWIC. Many stories and articles have been published in the e-magazine of Atlanta (USA). Some of her books were listed regularly some years back in the HT Neilson Best Seller Books for children by Indian Publishers. She treasures this achievement because she was No.1 while Ruskin Bond was No. 2 or vice-versa. Ruskin Bond is the most established & renowned writer for books for children.
