A Thousand Cranes

<p>Ever since he started writing Corbin Nielsen wished to share his words with the world. A Thousand Cranes is a compilation of poems and short stories that Corbin penned throughout high school. Even though many pieces in this volume are products of an academic exercise the selections are curated to create an exciting journey for the reader. Themes of speaking out keeping silent telling jokes telling the truth and living with faithful or mysterious companions intertwine through nonlinear story lines. A Thousand Cranes is Corbin’s first but certainly not last effort to capture the paradoxical quirky details of growing up.</p>
