A Treasury of Stories and Poems

<p>In this Treasury of Stories and Poems Created by Children and Young People be whisked away to lands where a Panther Prince rules a magical place where a Warrior Cat armed with stick roams to funny and touching tales of invisible people a lost and found little bear a Lion King Princess tea parties a family of tigers shopping for treats and a puffin making friends with a shrimp! Come and explore lands near and far in this enchanting collection of works which are written by disabled children and young people children and young people with additional needs and their siblings and friends with the support of their parents/carers. This book was produced as part of a New Hope North East (NHNE) 'Fig Tree Writing Project' funded by Ballinger Charitable Trust and 'Adapt to Change Writing Project' funded by The National Lottery Covid-19 Fund-HM Government fund. This entire project was delivered during the 2020 to 2022 global pandemic and created a platform and a safe space for self-expression and creativity finding hope joy and inspiration together through challenging times. All profits made from the sales of this book will go directly back to the NHNE charity to fund activities for disabled children/YP siblings and peers from disadvantaged backgrounds.</p>
