About the Book: The book is based on the author’s travel diaries and comprises sequel narratives for journeys through Scandinavia. The book describes the journeys as seen through the author’s eyes. Countries in Scandinavia are well-known for their pristine environment and extraordinary natural beauty. The scenic mountains fjords waterfalls valleys and archipelagos attract tourists worldwide. On the other side the stunning architecture of the old and the modern era in the cities is a treat for the eyes. The narratives have been well supported by self-clicked coloured photographs and a touch of history as gathered during the travels. Other aspects which had attracted the author are the rich cultural heritage and some unique practices which tend to run as a common thread through the different countries visited. The book also talks about some interesting interactions with a few knowledgeable locals as well as the flavours of the regional food and folktales wherever possible. About the Author: The Author Sudhansu Kumar lives in Jamshedpur India. He is a Materials Engineering and Quality Assurance professional. He has had a distinguished career with a major automobile company for nearly four decades. After superannuation from service he is engaged as an independent consultant in his field of expertise for the last decade and a half. He is widely travelled across the continents. Apart from travelling he is passionate about reading and writing. His other interests are sports and music which he pursues during leisure. He has had various technical publications over the years in his name. He has now ventured into penning his experience and insights in other fields of interest. This is his first book in the travelogue series.
