A Verse that Travels through Space

Vojislav Deric was born on 2 November 1938 in Zaplanik (Trebinje) Bosnia and Herzegovina into a family of teacher. He graduated fromthe University of Sarajevo with a Bachelor's degreein Architecture and Urbanism.He is recipient of several awards in dedication to his work. He has organised many independent literacy evenings in Ex-Yugoslavia and Australia and has published many collections of poetry. This includes: The Boomerang does not forgive (2002) It was summertime (2003) Distance Harvester (2004) San and Gate (2004) Spasm of Dawn (2006) On the Swirl of Tears (2006) Splinter of Times (2010) The plastic color of light (2010) and novels: In Front of The Sun Behind The Moon (2113) His Majesty The Human (2017) The patina of shine (2014 printed 2024).Alongside writing poetry he also enjoys painting and draving ( oil ink acrylic water colour ).He lives whit his family and creates in Melbourne - Australia.
